Metal Roofing
Standing seam and metal panel roofing for homes and commercial buildings across Mesa, Gilbert, Scottsdale and the Valley.
Mesa, Arizona
Standing seam and panel roofing built to last in the desert.
Metal handles Arizona better than most materials — no asphalt binder to break down, no granule surface to wash away. Whether you're building a custom home or replacing a commercial roof, we look at the structure and walk you through which system fits before anything gets specified.

The Blackline way
Metal systems we install
01
Standing seam
Panels joined by raised vertical seams with concealed fasteners — removing the most common long-term failure point. Clean lines for modern desert architecture.
02
Exposed fastener panel
Corrugated and ribbed systems fastened through the face. Great for outbuildings, patio covers and commercial structures.
Considerations before choosing metal
- Thermal movement — systems must be detailed to expand and contract
- Neighborhood standards — some communities restrict material and profile
- Structural fit — works across a wide range of pitches, including low slope
- Sound — over solid decking it's far quieter than its reputation

Why metal performs in the desert
Sun is the primary enemy of most roofing materials here, and metal is largely indifferent to it. Modern coatings hold color and resist chalking under continuous UV.
Reflectivity is the other advantage: many finishes send a meaningful portion of solar radiation back instead of absorbing it into the attic.
The tradeoff is precision. Panel alignment, expansion allowance and flashing detail all have to be right, because thermal movement exposes sloppy work within a few seasons.
